The wilds can substitute for a bonus symbol: The number of spins you get varies based on the number of triggering symbols (which, like any version of the game, must be triggered on consecutive reels from left to right). The difference here, therefore, is the free games bonus. The Mini, Minor and Major adds credits to the first two picks for each, which are awarded if you match all three. The progressive picks (and triggers) are the same here – any wild symbol will throw up coins into the pile above, and any wild can trigger a predetermined picking bonus. The pay tables can differ somewhat between versions, but in this case the Dancing Foo version matches the Turtle Kingdom version I previously wrote about. All 5 gold stacks are active in 88 credit bet increments. The core features – stacked symbols (including a single symbol in all gold stack ranges, all ways pays, and expanding wilds that can also trigger a progressive bonus, are all in play here. Today, I’m going to look at another version, Dancing Foo, that’s been around awhile longer. As mentioned in Tuesday’s write-up, the Gold Stacks 88 game series has a number of things in common, but features unique bonuses that differ per game theme.
